Annual report

Another year comes to an end and all kinds of things have happened again. On January 18, 2021, fahrt-frei.fr was officially put into operation. The page is built up piece by piece and the end of this work is far from in sight.

The readme files of all rolling stock packages have been updated with regard to the contact details and five additional rolling stock packages have been added. The package with the Mak 1202 for various private railways as well as the packages of the 03, 50.40, 03.10 64 classes of the Bundesbahn.

My site has also been split into three languages, German, French and English.

Cooperation with Open Rails

I have been working officially with the developers of Open Rails since October. To my surprise, I received the information from there that I am the only still active provider in Germany who is known to open rails. Not only that that honors me, it also shows that another provider who has been announcing the continuation of his work for years but has not published anything is obviously no longer being taken seriously.

Introduction of the Open Rails weekly reports

Since the cooperation with Open Rails brings with it a lot of news, I have introduced the weekly reports for Open Rails in the 49th calendar week for better differentiation.

Adaptation of my rolling stock packages to Open Rails

Since the end of November I have been working in collaboration with Open Rails on revising the .eng and .wag files of my rolling stock packages for use in the OR. The aim is to make the best possible use of the opportunities offered by the Or.

Continuation of my work in 2022

Also in the next year I will be active for you and in the future. Even though I had all sorts of health problems this year, I won't let myself be stopped. I go on, on and on and on. I owe you that. You who drive me again and again with your encouragement in my work. Thank you and all the best for you for 2022!
