Half-year balance sheet

The first half of 2023 is over and it's time for the half-year report. There were three important advances in the first half of the year.

Conversion of rolling stock from MSTS to OR

An important step in the development was made with the introduction of the OR .eng files for the three packages of the V 100 for the Bundesbahn and the package of the V 100 of the DBAG as well as the other V 100 packages on April 10th, 2023. Adapted .sms files for these locomotives as well as for the classes V 90 and V 60 were also published on April 27, 2023. The introduction of these files contributes significantly to improving the realistic driving physics of these locomotives in the OR.

Operating instructions for the OR in three languages on fahrt-frei.fr

On May 15th, 2023 I completed the operating instructions of the OR in English on my side, on May 24th, 2023 in German and on May 26th, 2023 in French. This means that the current operating instructions for the OR can now be viewed in three languages on my site, which means that significantly more players than before have access to the operating instructions and are therefore much easier to use the OR.

Replacement of the GR class 44 locomotives

With the release of Stoney's class 44 Locomotive package to replace the GR models, another step has been taken to improve the quality of the GR models. This completes the replacement of GR's underperforming rolling stock with quality alternatives.

Updates for GR routes

In the first half of 2023, the improvement of the GR routes GR 1 and GR 2 has started. The improvements are then offered for sale on my site and, in addition to correcting errors, also include the integration of the functions and possibilities of the OR.
