Happy Pentecost!
I wish you all a happy Pentecost and hope that you had relaxing days.
Work progress
The problem with my work is that I can usually only show pictures of it when the work is almost or completely done. That's why I can only report about it again. First of all, the revision of the remaining packages with V 100 is progressing well. First the package with the V 100 of the NbE is done. Then the two V 100 from the exchange package for PT 6 will be provided with the missing revisions. Finally, there is the exchange and supplement package for GR. That also has a reason. The locomotives of these two packages have aged. Considering the extent of the changes that need to be made to the textures and considering that I wanted to improve the aging of the locomotives anyway, this means that the textures are completely renewed, which helps to increase the quality.
The V 100 abroad
The locomotives for France are first manufactured here, since the French share of 26 locomotives make up the majority of the V 100 abroad, so these are also manufactured first. Altogether there will be the following locomotives.
Belgium: 2 locomotives
Bosnia Herzegovina: 3 locomotives
France: 26 locomotives
Greece: 1 locomotive
Portugal: 1 locomotive
Switzerland: 8 locomotives
Spain: 3 locomotives
Hungary: 1 locomotive
Open Rails
In terms of Open Rails there is also something new to report. Unfortunately, the announced integration of the representation of the hydraulic power transmission has been postponed, since the responsible developer has not yet had the time to take care of it. But there will be a huge change with regard to .eng and .wag. In the next few days I will start converting the files mentioned to Open Rails. This means that the content of the textures is changed in such a way that all entries that are required for OR are included and all entries that are no longer required for OR are removed. As a result, the revised .eng and .wag files can only be used in OR , but no longer in MSTS. For my existing rolling stock packages, this means that in addition to the already existing .eng and .wag files for the MSTS, the packages are supplemented by the .eng and .wag files. Future rolling stock packages will then only have .eng and .wag files that can be used for the OR.
Until next time
Frank Stendel
