Fahrt frei is now trilingual at last
On March 31, 2019, when I was still reporting on my work at Farcebook, I introduced bilingual weekly reports for the first time. The French language was added. As a result, the number of French people interested in my work increased significantly. Therefore, I introduced English as the third language in the following weekly report on April 7th, 2019. This also led to an increase in interested parties from English-speaking countries as well as from all over the world.
Since sooner or later I wanted to leave Farcebook anyway, and this desire only got bigger due to the rampant censorship there, I decided to move my work completely to my own website rfahrt-frei.fr. The trilingualism should also be continued here. However, there is the option of switching the entire page to the respective language with the help of a switch. It took a lot of work to do that. While the actual pages were translated using an automatic translation function, I had to split the weekly reports and the notifications about published rolling stock into their German, French and English parts and publish them separately. In addition, the automatic translation did not always work properly, which is why I had to correct almost all of the texts afterwards.
Now all the work is done and the visitor can now easily set the desired language using a switch. With this changeover, a major task that I have been putting off before me is also completed. This means that another burden is off my shoulder and I can now concentrate more on handling the intended rolling stock packages.
How is this continuing?
As previously announced, I will first buy the packages from the 64, 65 and 82 series and then the packages from the 78 and 94 series.
Until next time
