Facebook group deleted

Since the censorship is rampant on Facebook and the Facebook group “Drive free” forum, which I intended to be a forum, never aroused the desired interest anyway, I deleted it on the evening of July 12th. In the meantime, Facebook has even declared one of my messages on my Facebook page for drive-free.fr as spam and deleted it. For me just another reason to distance yourself from Facebook.

Introduction of the Din script

As already announced on the main page, I have completely changed the font on my site from Arial to Din 1451 DB. This has been made possible by the fact that my service provider now also offers the option of uploading and using your own, in addition to specified fonts, for page design. When I discovered this, I uploaded the Din 1451 DB font, which fits thematically much better than Arial, and then immediately started converting everything that was written on my site to the Din font.

Update the Readme PDF files

Updating the Read Me PDF files is going well. Now there are only 18 PDF files to update and then that job is done too. That sounds like a lot now, but the update is now quick and easy.

Renaming of individual packages

In the course of updating the PDF files, several packages were renamed in order to standardize the package names. However, nothing changed in the content of the packages.

The package PF DB Personenwagen IV und V is now called the Paket PF DB Personenwagen IV und V Paket

The package PF DB Personenwagen III is now called the PF DB Personenwagen III Paket

The package PF DB Popwagen Musterzüge is now called the PF DB Popwagen Musterzüge Paket

The package HF DB Personenwagen V is now called the HF DB Personenwagen V Paket

The package HF DB Gueterwagen L is now called the HF DB Güterwagen L Paket

The package PF DB Popwagen is now called the PF DB Popwagen Paket

Redistribution of a package

The packages published so far included the PF DB DR DBAG Gesammelte Werke package, which contained rolling stock of the Federal Railroad, the Reichsbahn and DBAG. I never really liked this mix, which is why I have now split up this package as part of the update of the PDF files. The rolling stock is now included in the following, already known packages.

The folder SF DB Silberlinge PT6 is now included in the package GR DB Silberlinge Ergänzung 2

The folder SF DB Silberlinge SWB72 is now included in the package GR DB Silberlinge Ergänzung 2

The folder SF DBAG Silberlinge PT6 is now included in the package  PT DBAG Silberlinge Ergänzung 3

The folder PF DR Personenwagen IV is now included in the new package PF DR Personenwagen IV Paket

Outlook

As I mentioned in a previous weekly report, the past few months have been pretty bad and I've had a lot of problems to deal with. On the other hand, it was also necessary, because otherwise these problems would only have burdened me further. That is finally over and I can finally look ahead and therefore concentrate on my work. I am glad that this difficult time has now come to an end and that things are finally going on. And it goes on, because there is still so much to do and I'm looking forward to it.
