Revision of the aged V 100 of the Bundesbahn and DBAG
The weathering needs to be improved
What sounds like a contradiction is not one here. The V 100 contained in the GR DB DBAG V 100 Austausch and GR DBAG V 100 Ergänzung packages have textures that represent the locomotives in different degrees of weathering. On closer inspection, however, it is noticeable that in some places the weathering does not look realistic or is faulty. This means that the weathering shown looks unnatural, or at the places where textures are adjacent, these transitions can be clearly seen, which also does not look realistic. What is meant by this can be seen in the following example images.
From now on, parallel to the announced locomotive packages, I will take care of the revision of the textures and eliminate the errors or unrealistic representations seen above. The exact time of the completion of this work cannot be given yet, I intend to have this project done before Christmas.
