Revision of the packages of the V 100 of the Bundesbahn and DBAG completed
Again I have revised my packages of the V 100 of the Bundesbahn and the DBAG. Not only that the lower ventilation slots on the front end of the V 100.20 and V 100.23 were still positioned too far to the left. When comparing it with the original, it was noticeable that the depiction of these ventilation slots was unrealistic. The same applied to the fan fins located above. That's why I've now completely revised the entire front end of both sub-series. To be on the safe side, I also looked at the front end of the V 100.10 and the V 100.20 of the pre-series and found that the lower fan slits and the grille in front of the fan fins were also unrealistically depicted. In addition, it was noticed that the number and position of the screws with which the frame of the fan blades is fastened was incorrect. Since all of these changes to the front end meant that it had to be widened overall, the company number had to be realigned on all locomotives.
As a result, I completely reworked the front ends of the 279 locomotives of the three packages for the Bundesbahn and the 61 locomotives of the package for the DBAG. All in all it was quite a fiddly job.
The revised models are available from the links below.
No final conclusion of the revision
The revision of the packages is not yet complete, since the .eng files still have to be adapted for the OR. This requires the integration of the representation of the hydraulic power transmission, which, as already mentioned, is under development and will be available by June at the latest, but probably earlier.
Until next time
