A new weekly report
Due to the extensive events and changes, there will now be another weekly report that will exclusively deal with everything that I contribute to the OR. And even if the 49th calendar week has not yet expired, the weekly report is already available for this.
The workflow in outline
In the last week's report, I announced which work would be done first. But that is only the beginning of this work and it will be very extensive and what it will look like is described in detail in the weekly reports for the OR.
The order of work
As already announced in the weekly report for calendar week 48, the .eng files of my parcels with the V 100 of the Bundesbahn will first be adapted to the OR. Then the package from DBAG, then the package from NbE and then the packages with the V 100, which replace those from GR and PT.
The next step is to gradually adapt the .eng and .wag files of my other packages to the OR.
Then come the other "manufacturers"
Once this work is done, I will publish a package with the .eng and .wag files with which German Railroads (GR) rolling stock will be fully adapted to the OR. This package will mean that, given the improvements brought about by the revision of the .eng and .wag files, players will only want to use the OR anyway. Certain efforts to develop a so-called GR-Betriebswerk and thus to make the MSTS fit for the future are then wasted.
If the rolling stock from GR is provided with .eng and .wag files adapted to the OR, the same revision of the .eng and .wag files of the rolling stock from Halycon and then from PT and finally also for the legends of the route between the Rhine takes place and Ahr, legends between Spree and Oder from NBG and the Höllentalbahn from Aerosoft.
One more note on the heading. As you can see, I've put the manufacturer in quotation marks. This happened simply because these manufacturers either no longer manufacture anything or even no longer exist. Apart from me, I am not aware of any other manufacturer in Germany who still produces something.
What's next?
What I announced above is already an enormous amount and as far as the revision itself is concerned, I got professional advice from abroad, which I will also comment on in due course.
Until next time
